Pink Patch Program

The Pink Patch movement has deep roots in the first responder community. Its roots can be traced to 2013, when the Seal Beach Police Department began wearing pink uniform patches during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). What started as a local awareness effort grew into a worldwide movement involving hundreds of police, sheriff, fire, EMS, and federal agencies.

Now, each October, traditional public-safety shoulder patches are transformed with pink during the month of October to raise awareness, honor those affected by breast cancer, and generate support for programs serving patients, survivors, and their families.

During my law enforcement career, I had the opportunity to be part of the Pink Patch effort for over a decade and saw firsthand how the first responder community could come together behind a cause that touches so many families.

Now, through Grave Shift Coffee & Tea, I have another opportunity to continue supporting that mission.

Our Full Moon label has been transformed with the distinctive pink colors and breast cancer awareness ribbon of the Pink Patch movement, while the coffee inside remains the same Specialty Grade Mexico Single-Origin our customers know as Full Moon.

From September 1 through October 31, all net proceeds from Pink Patch Edition products will be donated to local breast cancer support programs.
